there's a pretty good jo-ann's on old country road outside of westbury i think....my husband actually knows the places more then me because he went to a bunch of stores looking for ric rac for me when jo-ann's ran out....
the quilting bug in massapequa looks great but i aint been there yet....although you could go there and then have lunch at smokin' Al's after!!! Mmmmmmm!! it's 25 minutes from valley stream.. in 24 minutes you can reach carle place and there is a shop right there...and then you can do Vincent's Clam bar for lunch!! Goodness i sound like my husband telling you the best spots to eat!!!

I will try the Quilting Bug next weekend! Thanks! I won't buy quilting fabric in Joanns. I love Vincent's Clam Bar, go there all the time.

And you HAVE to try Smokin' Al's!!! Best bbq ever!!! they're technically in Massapequa Park...follow your nose to them!! I always get the Big Melt Sandwich...you will definitely have leftovers!! And if you're going with a few people i definitely recommend getting the haystack appetizer....Mmmmmmm!!
