Hello, my name is Lisa. I am from Maine and I have been quilting for about 5 years now. I am a nurse, a mom of five, grandmother of 3 (soon to be 4) and a wife. My sister, mom, daughter, and many of my family members are quilters and we get together once a month for a family quilting day.

Welcome from down under, Australia. That would be fun to get the family together for a quilting day. My sister is on the other side of the country, i only get to see her once a year, if that. But we do chat nearly every day on the internet. it is great. :)

Welcome from Northern California. I am a first generation quilter and I hope that I will be able to continue this beautiful hobby for future generations. It is so wonderful that you have family that share quilting time. You and your family are going to learn so much just reading from this board. Again, welcome.
