I have been quilting for approximately 6 years now but learn, learn , lean everyday-- most time from my mistakes unfortunately. I live in Kansas. I was an RN and hurt my back and so severly that I could no longer work so my DH turned a bedroom into a sewing room, bought me a Bernina embroidery machine, serger, and sewing machine. It has been my mental health and gave me something to do. I finished my first hand applique quilt 2 months ago and am awaiting the quilter to quilt it. I belong to a quilt guild with approx. 90 members.
