Awww!!! Thanks Y'All for the VERY warm welcome!

Years ago we lived in the country just outside a little town east of Dallas when the kids were small. I was a stressed out stay at home Mom and our Pastor's wife encouraged me to enroll the little ones in a Mother's day out program so I could have a break. I found these ladies that hand quilted other peoples quilts at the Odd Fellows hall. They welcomed me with open arms and let me learn to hand quilt! What a PRECIOUS group of ladies! Most all were in their 60's and 70's then. It is now 24 years later. I imagine most have passed on. I think of them often! What fond memories!
