Welcome Tisch. We would love to see your 431G on the Vintage Machine forum here.
http://www.quiltingboard.com/vintage...thusiasts-f22/

You will get a lot of advice and help to get your sewing machine in a good working state.

Welcome from Louisiana. One great thing about this board is some one will usually be able to help answer questions, help deal with problems and in general just be great people and resources. Look in the vintage machine area; there are post on how to clean and oil many different machines. Good luck.

Welcome from SC Texas. That is such a workhorse of a machine I am sure with a little clean up and a little work you will have a winner.
