Hello for New Hampshire
#1
A warm hello from the very cold state of New Hampshire. I have been reading the site for a while. It is a delight to read a board where folks are so helpful and pleasant!
When my kids were small I made all their clothes and did English smocking and quilting when I had time. Now, I have been retired (taught HS Math and computer science) for about two years, and my time is my own (kind of - DH is also retired!!). We have just moved up here from Northern Va, and I have a big sewing room, a supply of projects and nowhere I must go in the cold snow/ice.
Look forward to being a part of such a great forum. :-)

Thanks - I hail from RI in my younger years and DH and I did a lot of prior planning for this move home to New England that seemed to help in the last onslaught of ice! Just plan to sew when the weather is poor!
