welcome from se TX -- snow?? not around here, I hope, as we don't cope well with cold and wet -- this is one of our first days of winter and it may not have gone below freezing last night despite forecasts of lows just under 30 degrees -- but yes, a good time for quilting!!

Hi and welcome to the QB from PA. I saw Monadnock and had to respond. I used to vacation there and love climbing Mt. Monadnock. My gang of friends would meet at the Fitzswilliam Inn and spend Halloween week enjoying the NH countryside. The Pumpkin Festival was celebrated every year at the end of our stay. One year they set the world record for carved and lit pumpkins, over ten thousand. What a sight that was in the center of Keene.
What fun and happy memories.
Have fun here and show us your quilts when you can.
peace
