Hi there, I am new to quilting and just finding my way around here, I live in the countryside. Among my hobbies are gardening, painting and of course sewing. I have just completed my first quitl which was machine pieced and hand quilted. I am hooked!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome from upstate New York. I am also new to quilting and am actually working on 2 quilts. One is for a quilting class and the other is through the "Adopt a Newbie" challenge here on the board. Neither are finished yet...
It is very addictive. I love seeing all the pictures and stories of the quilts. My mind spins and I keep thinking "I want to do that, and that!..."

Welcome from sunny North Carolina (today at least). Glad to have you here. You will love it. There are so many wonderful people to help with advice if you need it and they are so encouraging. We love to see pictures BTY.
