Hi My name is Margret.
I was referred to your site from my lovely mother, whom I believe is on your site quite often.
I currently live in Northern New York while my husband is stationed at Ft. Drum. I've been told there is only 3 places within 15 miles that sell fabric other than JoAnn's. I've only found 1. I've seen where the 2nd is located and have yet to find the 3rd location. The next closest place is 68 miles then 3 hours. This has been really tough. Not to mention not being able to enjoy these places with my fellow quilter , my mom.

Welcome to the board from about 15 minutes from you. JoAnn's is the only place I have found that carries fabric. Where did you find another place? When I visit my daughter in Lowville I go to there Walmart. It still carries fabric. Nice to have you here.

T-bone's Mom

Cap's Quilting in Carlton. Small shop. The man put a bldg on his property and has 2 rooms of fabric. Amelio's Sew and Vac in Watertown started carrying fabric but I haven't been there.
Did you make it to the Quilt Show in Sackets Harbor?
There is also a shop just past Lowville.
