I am looking forward to meeting new quilting friends, and learning lots from more experienced quilters. My trade for many years was as a clothing designer/seamstress. Now I am discovering that I don't know how much I don't know about quilting!!!! Who knew there would be such a different set of skills involved?

Even more remote than Detroit Lakes....I am in Crookston. Having grown up in a large city, I am loving living in a small community.

So true that quilting and clothes are different skills. I did formals for a long time and thought I'd just jump to quilts. It's not so easy, but the ladies and gentlemen on here are great. Just ask anything. Someone on here will know immediately. It's great.

PS. My favorite aunt lives in the Fergus Falls area. I love to visit her in the summer. She has a beautiful lake in her backyard, but then again everyone in MN has a beautiful lake in their backyard!
