Hello from Ontario!
Hi, my name is Stacey and I'm so happy to be on here with you all. I love all types of crafting like needle felting, sewing, knitting, painting, dyi... My house is starting to look like an advertisement for Pinterest.
I've always wanted to quilt and this past August I bought myself a Viking. My first real sewing machine that wasn't a hand-me-down and doesn't start smoking after 5 minutes of use. I plan on starting easy with a 1600 quilt, I just hope I have half the talent some of you quilters have. Wish me luck and hopefully one day you will see pictures of my quilts.

Hi Stacey and welcome to the Board from Southern California! Congratulations on your new machine and don't wait to post pictures until you think you are good enough!! We love seeing other's work and are here for lots of help and encouragement!

Thanks everyone! BC is so beautiful and its so cool to have someone else from Ontario, I hope we become great friends. I'd love to know about local quilting shows, if we have any. I have lots of respect for my fellow neighbor Americans, pretty much everything I do and love comes from America. I really appreciate the welcomes.
