Default Hello from overseas in the UK

Hello there. My name is Jan and I am a mum to two boys and a soppy labarador retriever. I have been quilting for several years now. Unfortunately although I have made numerous quilts they are generally for presents or comissions for other people. I am hoping to get a janome 1600p and grace frame this week which I am hoping will help me get more quilts made. My hands are very painful due to health problems and hand quilting makes them so much worse. I am looking forward to making some online quilty friends and hoping to pick up some tips from fellow quilters. I love scrappy quilts and I am especially fond of Bonnie Hunters patterns.

Jan x

Welcome Jan from the state - the SHO-ME state to be exact - Missouri. I have a sister named Jan - just plain Jan - it is not short for anything. My mom said she did not want to name her something and have people shorten it like they do to my name - so, you guessed it - nobody could shorten Jan - but they sure can lengthen it - Janet, Janis, Janie, etc.
