Cool Oklahoma Howdy!

Good morning from Oklahoma! I stumbled upon this forum by accident, and now I may not leave! My name is Kerie, and I live in Oklahoma (Originally from Kansas). My hubby and I have been married almost 21 years, and we have 2 daughters, 20 & 17.

My mother has quilted for 50+ years, but has had to retire her needle due to macular degeneration, but I have learned from the best, and I have the quilts to prove it! She is my inspiration.

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. My mother has MD as well. I have been proactive in my own eye care since her diagnosis. I got my eyes scanned so I would have a base line evaluation for the future. I take Vitalux vitamins for my eyes. High blood pressure is a contributing factor also.

Welcome from Tennesse from a true Michigan gal! You are so blessed to have always been covered by a quilt made by a loving mother! And she taught you her craft, how blessed are you? Have you taught your daughters to quilt? Another generation of quilters coming up? My mother didn't quilt, she was a fantatic seamstress and made many beautiful outfits for me. I am not a good sewer, but love to sew.
