Hello all! :D I've been reading on this board for a while and thought it was time to get my feet wet. I am pretty much a beginner quilter, I guess. Not sure what makes a person not a beginner quilter. I've pieced and machine quilted 3 table toppers and I've pieced 3 tops, 2 of which are pretty large, but they're not quilted because I fear I won't be able to machine quilt them, the table toppers were a task in themselves, and I refuse to pay someone to do it. I am terrible at dreaming of all the beautiful quilts I'm going make and buy all kinds of fabrics and gadgets and rulers but I never wake-up from the dream to actually make the things I'm dreaming about. I will confess I am also a procrastinator. There I said it. Can a person be a quilter and a procrastinator at the same time? Love to hear your thoughts, if they're nice thoughts!

Hello and welcome from central Alabama. Yes, you can be a quilter and a procrastinator at the same time. That explains all my UFOs I have collected over the years.

Hi and welcome from Alaska! Nice work. I would say you have moved out of the beginning stages. But I am not an expert on stages either--I don't know what constitutes a professional quilter either--someone said if you charge for your services, you are professional--hmmmmm.
