I'm the typical out of work American guy jobless for almost three years so I made a quilt. It took me a few hundred hours.

I'm looking for a new project.
I have several old machines, they all work, and some are very rare.
Yes I used a machine to make my quilt and it still took me a few hundred hours!

Welcome from Louisiana:) Love your quilt. Great job. Love the red and white. Very classic!

Thanks, It turned out great, better than I thought it would. I never thought I would make a quilt but now that I did I think I want to make more.

Pillow shams is a great idea. They will take a lot less time too!
I'm looking for my scraps now!
Thanks for the idea

Hello & welcome from TN. Congrats on your first quilt! My DH started making a quilt about 6 months ago. He swears when he finishes it he's going to post it here & use Sew-Slow as his board name!

Theres some great tutorials out there for pillow cases that you can do in about an hour or less. Just give it a google! Love your sewing machine! They dont make em like that anymore!
