Seven kids - All your own? I have four and my husband has 3 (that he has custody of). so together that's seven. And who said I wasn't quick with math!? Ages from 31 to 17, so I'm now in the grandma stage too. I can tellyou from experience, that projects like quilting help keep you sanity. Just make sure that they all know that sewing scissors are OFF-LIMITS! Sara

yes, my husband and I have been married for almost 20 wonderful years!
Sorry, it took me so long to answer, the phone line was down for a few days. Hubby is at a fire meeting tonight so I decided to see what is going on here. :)
Scissors off limits..oh boy,the one daughter says I look like this little guy  when they get into the scissors :P

I remember about the scissors from when I was very little and my mom was a professional seamstress. I in turn made sure my husband and children knew they were not to be used by any one but me. I am still using a pair I bought 35 years ago, which have never been sharpened and still work great. They are Gingers and cost me about $35, which was a lot of money back then. I think they were bought with birthday money.
