Hi--I just registered on the board but I've been lurking for a couple of months. I have done very little quilting in the past. I used to do a lot of machine sewing but stopped about 5 years ago to switch to paper crafting.
I thought I was "safe" going with a friend to a quilt show but darn if it didn't tempt me to buy a hexagon kit, LOL!
I have been making hexes like crazy and made a Halloween centerpiece for my cousin--all by hand! I'm attaching some pics of the WIP--I will have to search for the pics of the final product that I gave her!
My next project I am working on are more hexes to make a Queen size quilt! That should last me quite awhile (If I ever finish it, haha!)
