Since I have started posting on these boards I thought I should probably introduce myself. I have just been quilting for a year but I am hooked. :shock:

My daughter played softball for years and kept all her jerseys from grade school thru college. Ugh...always asking me to make her a quilt out of them. I haven't sewn since my 8th grade home ec class! Well, low and behold a new quilt shop opened in our little town so I went in to ask questions. That was it...I took a beginning class and now quilt with a group of friends in Oakdale, Ca once a month and have people come to my house in Ceres, Ca every Weds. night.

I have learned an awful lot from these boards and hope to make many new friends here also.

I wish I had a quilt shop that was close to me. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I don't drive and the nearest one is about 20 miles away.

Although my husband is probably glad, or else we would have no money left. I am also very addicted! :thumbup:

Welcome, so glad you joined us. This is the best place for help if you need it and lots of inspiration. When I go down to Fresno, I go right through Ceres, maybe we could meet up for a quick chat, if you'd like.
