Hi from Southeastern Oklahoma
Hi everyone! I am really loving this site! About me: I am a 53 year old widow and a Nana to 9 Grandchildren. I am medically retired. I am learning to quilt...proper. Have spent several many hours with a seam ripper in hand! With each project I do, I learn something new, improved and wonderful. I am curious about "paper piecing." Also someday would love to gift my daughter with the 'crem de la crem of quilts-the wedding ring quilt. More on that much later. Right now, i'm keeping it simple by making a log cabin quilt. So far, so good. Maybe if I find a good teaching sampler to sew, I could finally get it together and do good work! Any suggestions? Comments? Web sites? I am very open to lots of options!

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. If you can watch YouTube videos, try the Missouri Star Quilt Co. tutorials by Jenny Doan. She shows and demonstrates table runners and quilts that are nice to follow along with. You can also go to www.quiltville.com and find the quilt patterns and pictures for Bonnie Hunter's quilts. The titles are listed on the right hand side of the page and are easy to follow for some great quilts.
