Hi- I live in the greatest area for quilt shops. we are just over the line from Lancaster county so there are about 15 LQSs within a 20 minute drive. I started quilting about 25 years ago, but then took a 15 year break. I raise and show German Shorthaired Pointers so once a year I have to share my quilt room with a litter of puppies. A very good friend built my "tables" to fold down to the wall so there is space for the puppy activities. So once a year I have to give up quilting for 2 months...lots of fun putting everything away, but it does make me clean up my act yearly.

Welcome!!! You are so lucky to be so close to Lancaster! I visit there about 4 times a year and load up with fabric. I've always said I would like to retire there and get a job in one of the shops.

Oh, I envy you!! I live clear across the state, and don't get to the PA Dutch area near enough!!! And then, when I get there, I can't decide which quilt shops to go to!!! Lucky you!! And welcome from Western PA (about 10 minutes from the Ohio border...)
