Hi I am new to the board and fairly to quilting, although completely and utterly addicted. I get the shakes when I'm within a mile of a fabric shop and am completely mesmerized if they're having a sale. I'm looking forward to learning tips and tricks from the more seasoned quilters on the board as I've been told by my treasured friend and quilt mentor, Cajunquilter2, the board is an invaluable resource. Thanks!

welcome Junkie, (we all are) I know what you mean about sales. Hancocks had a sale on polar fleece a few years back on Columbus Day---50cents a yard, cut your own and write it down. $127 later my daughter and I carried out a whole car load of fleece. I split it with a friend and still had a closet full. Most of it went for charity blankets but I still have quite a bit.

Welcome to the board........we are all junkies here......feels like we should be sitting in a circle. Hi My name is Jan and I am into quilting. There is probably a medication somewhere they prescribe for us!
