Hi, I'm new here. I am familiar with the bulletin board format so posting won't be a problem.

I have always wanted to learn to quilt. I bought several beginners book including Quilting for Dummies. But alas, I was to dumb for the dummies book. Haha

I started taking classes this summer and am now working on my borders for my first ever queen log cabin quilt. I am scheduled to go on the long arm quilting machine Nov 18 so I have to make sure I am ready.

In class we were taught log cabin, several kinds of applique, and paper piecing. I love paper piecing!

I have been lurking for a few days now and have been looking at your pictures. You all so such beautiful work!
