Welcome from NE CA. Glad you joined us. I used to make just twin size quilts out of the doubleknits, and donate them to the homeless shelter. They were very much appreciated and they stand up to the wear.

I have a quilt my grandmother made in the 70's that is polyester. She used an old blanket as backing. I had planned on hanging it on the wall but it is the the first thing the kids grab to lay with on the couch. I figure she would be glad it is at least being used!

Welcome from NW Missouri!!
My mom made quilts from all the double knit she had, in the 70's. They are too heavy for everyday use but I was so glad i had one when we had the power outage a 2 years ago during the ice storm.
