    Hi from Little Elm, Texas!

    I've been sewing clothes since I was 12 years old. However, at age 62 I am making my first quilt. It started out as a denim and flannel rag quilt until my DH decided he wanted it "smooth" (his words). So here I am, trying to figure it out through trial and much error! But I'm having fun learning. QB has helped me a great deal and I'm afraid it's replaced the online book I was reading. I am married to a wonderful man, Doug. We have two grown daughters, a brilliant grandson, age 8 and a beautiful granddaughter, age 5.

    My precious baby is Sassy. She is a 3.5 pound Yorkie and is my constant companion. Even when I'm sewing she lies in a chair beside me.
