Hi! I just found this site today, I'm from the Northwest, but soon to be in Texas. I'm definitely a beginner. In the past I've made one finished quilt and a couple of quilt tops that I never got around to quilting. It was a do-it-yourself approach, so I definitely have a lot to learn. I just perused the BOM threads and am excited to go back and start doing these. I like that most of them are doable for beginners, I know if I start off with something too ambitious it won't turn out the way I want it to.

Welcome! The BOM's are a lot of fun! Great practice for us beginners! I hope you will enjoy this forum as much as I do. Everyone is so nice and helpful. We have tons of beginners as well as helpful pros. You'll be in awe at the creations!

Hello & Welcome from another North Westerner. So you're moving to go to the big state of Texas? Hope you enjoy it. I've only driven through it a couple of times on cross country road trips with my family when I was younger. There are other people on this site from Texas though who should be able to guide you to the best places to get your quilting supplies. :D Lots of good people here & it's a great place to get help & ideas.

Welcome, just jump right in and ask any questions that you may have. There are some really talented people here who will be glad to help in any way they can. I'm new to quilting myself and the ladies and gentlemen here have been a great help and inspiration to me.
