Hi, my name is Ali and I'm a 33 yr. old, happily married, SAHM and homeschooling parent to two preteen boys. I have been quilting off and on since I was in my late teens. I stopped sewing for several years after I lost my sewing machine (and my house) to a tornado in 2005. A few years after that I picked up the art of hand piecing and discovered that I liked it a lot. However, hand piecing is very tedious and time consuming. Since I didn't ever finish a hand pieced quilt, my husband bought me a new sewing machine this past Christmas. And he did it just in time because we learned that his sister is going to have a baby!!
