Hi from Pleasant Hill, CA (SF Bay Area)

I thought since I've been here a few weeks, and am thoroughly addicted, i would intro myself.
I'm a mother of two beautiful children (10 and 6), a divorce lawyer, a wife and a QUILTER! I've been quilting since about 1990, when i met a friend who taught me everything. I got out of it for a while, as I made a baseball quilt for my son. I planned to free motion the baseballs, took a two day class, and got stuck, literally for 4 years. It was the UFO from hell and I refused to start a new project until it was done. I finally finished it, the baseballs look like **it, but it's done. Since then, I've been on a roll. I've completed two, and now have two in the works, plus I'm signed up for a class next month.
I feel incredibly welcomed here and am looking forwarding to laughing, learning and making new friends.

Greetings from your neighbor in the Sacramento Valley. WOW, you stuck with a project for 4 years. That's amazing. I just counted my UFOs and stopped at 14. Last night I asked DH: Do you think I should dig out a UFO or start something new? lol

Perhaps I'll post a picture of it and you'll see why - the baseballs are so ugly - I really should've appliqued them, but was too chicken. Anyway, it was just a heavy mental block...but it's over and I'm a quilting mad-woman right now.
