Hi, I'm new here. Glad I found this forum as I've been looking for more resources for making better quilts. I make mostly denim quilts from old jeans. I've made 4-5 traditional quilts, but I really stink at putting them together and doing the decorative stitching/darning. I learned how to make quilts from my Mom who did them the old-fashioned way, by hand.
I'm 39 and live in Maryland for the moment. When we retire, we're moving back to Texas, God willing!
Just last year, my husband bought me a new Janome Memory Craft 6600 and I've been having a blast learning new techniques and this awesome thing called free-motion quilting! I'm really behind on all the latest techniques, so I'm trying to catch up.
