It's nice to meet youall! I've been interested in quilts all my life, I used to watch my Mamaw piece on an old Singer foot-operated machine and she quilted at night, in front of the TV, on a big, old wooden stand. My husband of 33 years and I are empty-nesters. We converted our son's old bedroom into a library and the spare bedroom into my sewing room. I LOVE IT and will post pictures if youall are interested in seeing it. I am so happy with it! I'm in there almost every evening after work, piecing a quilt or cutting a new one out. I am making up for lost time!!
We have one grown son, who has given us two beautiful grandchildren. I'm hoping my granddaughter develops an interest in quilting and sewing. We're also the "parents" of 2 pug dogs, Mister Bean and LuLu. If you're a pug lover, you can meet them at www.misterbeanalittlepuginabigworld.blogspot.com
I was hoping to post a picture of my latest quilt, but am unable to do so. Will work on that!
