I am brand new to quilting and Karla sent me here! LOL

My name is Angie and I am from upstate NY. I have very little sewing experience but want to learn to quilt. I like to try new things and I am stubborn (I used to train donkeys LOL).

My first project is going to be a barn wall hanging. We have 2 mini horses which are my "therapy" My 2 yr old horse is currently starting his harness training. He is a good boy with a lot of potential.

I look forward to learning from you all and have enjoyed your beautiful quilts.

Angie

Welcome, welcome!

A barn quilt, eh? Can you tell us more about it? Is it the same pattern Karla used? We sure loved watching her bring it to life!

You'll have a whole new family here and a lot more admirers when you post pictures of your minis!

Whaddaya mean, a pain? :D

Hmm, I've been email buddies with Angie for...how long? 2 years? And she's never been a pain--not even close. What are you planning, Angie?

You guys are gonna love this girl. And, oh boy, are they going to love your horse stories and photos. Wiat till you see her beautiful children! :D

Welcome, my friend.

Welcome from Wa. You'll love it here. Can wait to hear about your horses and see pics of your quilts as you learn. It's really fun. And the gals here are sooooooo good at helping.

welcome from the resident pain in the patootie LOL. Just kidding, we're all here to learn from each other and even though I ask a lot of questions, the people responding are always nice, patient, and definitely willing to help out. Welcome to the board from Indiana.
