I was a lot like you when I started. I had a long sewing, tailoring background, but discovered that a lot of that knowledge didn't mean squat when it came to quilting. Quilting is its own special niche, requiring a specific set of skills that you don't learn anywhere else. But I'm living proof that it can be done; you CAN learn to quilt!

You're going to be so happy you came on this Board. It really is the best place to learn. Don't know what I would have done without it!
