Thanks for all the welcomes! I realized I should have introduced myself in the initial post. Oops.

Well I am from Minnesnowta and am a Junior in college studying to be an elementary school teacher. I made my first quilt around 8th grade. I was at Wal-Mart with my mom looking at the fabric/craft section and saw some fabric that I liked and my mom asked me "Well, what would you do with it?" And I replied saying I would make a quilt. So my mom bought the fabric for me and I surfed the net to find a pattern that I would use. I've learned a LOT since that first quilt. I'm kind of embarrassed when I think about how I cut the fabric....I think the next quilt I made I made during textiles in high school. It was there that I learned how to correctly use a rotary cutter! Cutting fabric is so much easier. And since then I've been hooked!
