Welcome to the QB. Chances are that most issues/concerns will be addressed by someone on this board. There are a lot of talented people on the board that love to help others when an issue arises. In time, someone will help with your FMQ problem. Servicing the machine and an adjustment of thread tension may be in order.

Hi from Canberra. I was having the same problem on my Janome. I adjusted how high my darning foot sat above my fabric, it was too high before, and my machine only like Gutterman thread I took mine in for a service and unfortunately the sewing machine mechanic didn't quilt and so could not replicate my problem and found nothing wrong with the machine It is now behaving for me. I hope you can get your sorted too.

Hello and welcome from the Snowy Mountains (Talbingo to be precise). Don't know if there's much chance of us being able to meet up but if you are ever down this way ...
I have been struggling with FMQ for ages and am just not making the progress that I would like so I am taking one of Leah Day's classes on Craftsy and have learned so much about thread, tension, speed etc. that I have not seen anywhere else.
Would love to hear how you get on with your problems.
Cheers, Mary B.
