Not sure how I found the "Quilting Board" 4-5 weeks ago, but sure happy that I did. :-D Lurked for awhile, read the newsletter, and drooled over photos of awesome quilts. Made several blocks using tutorials BG members shared. You all are great! Have found that I need to limit my time on here so that I don't continue to spend hours, and hours here instead of at the sewing machine, or finishing the hand quilting on a baby quilt, etc.
Got interested in quilting back in 2000, but really got "in to" quilting when I retired in 2004. Still looking for my "niche" in the wonderful world of quilting, and have begun to do more in the area of art quilts. Do love to applique, enjoy hand-piecing and hand-quilting. In machine quilting, I am trying to learn how to do more than stipple as I have a bunch of pieced tops that need to be quilted.
