I am making a simple star quilt, but it calls for 7.5" finished Sawtooth Stars.

I can find the math for every other finished dimension, but not, 7.5" Can anyone help me with those measurement?

Just to make sure, this is the block you need?
http://www.quilt-lovers-guide.com/sa...ilt-block.html

If yes, you'd need to cut 2 3/8" squares for the corner squares (white), cut a 4 1/4" square (light blue)
I would cut 4 rectangles 2 3/8" X 4 1/4" (white) & 8 squares 2 3/8" & make the triangles the easy way.

Finished is in the measurement once it's in the quilt, right? I usually do my own patterns & don't really know the lingo.
