Default Kimberle

Hi! My name is Kimberle and I have been quilting for 2 years. My grandmother was a quilter, but my mom was a sewer and I have been sewing clothes for many years. My sister turned me onto quilting and I love it. Just bought a Babylock Unity and I have a Sofia.

Welcome Kimberle from the Sho-Me State - Missouri. If you have been sewing clothes and can understand a pattern, then you will do fine making quilts. Most quilt patterns use a 1/4 very accurate seam allowance - that will be a big change from sewing clothes.

Hi, Kimberle. Welcome from the beautiful mountains of western NC. Both my grandmothers quilter. My mom hated the quilting process, but she sewed many garments for my sister and me when we were children. I think my interest in quilting stems from my grandmothers.

Welcome from Maryland. My grandmothers inspired my needlework, too. Glad you found your way here.
