    Hi,

My name is Beth and I just wanted to thank everyone for answering questions for me. I've been seeking help for different problems on here. Thanks for letting me come "aboard".

Greetings from cold North Dakota!!! Just started on the quilt board and love what I have seen. Just finished 2 scrappy, paper pieced tops. Am at home 99% of the time because my Mother has moved in with my husband and I and in middle stages of Alzheimers. So I can quilt as she sits in her chair. Thanks for all the inspirations and new patterns.

Hey! Have just received a quilt pattern I've been searching for and am embarrassed to realize I did not introduce myself to the group! I live in Wolfforth, TX, right outside of Lubbock, in the upper Panhandle Region. I'm a 61yo retiree who spent 22yrs as a Military spouse, spending 12 of those years as a volunteer within the Military community. I now find myself as the Very Proud Mom of Two Marines with a lot of time on my hands, so I finally sifted through all my fabric, dusted off my sewing machine, and am quilting and sewing. And I can do all this in my PJs and not worry about anything else! {sigh} I love my new life! Thank You Lord!

I have been unable to find a link to the list of members and where they live. All I have been able to find is an alphabetical list of 'names'. I am trying to find others that live in my province that I may link up with when travelling or visiting other areas. Thanks. M

I am new to the quilting board as well as a new Long Arm owner. I have been quilting since the late 90s. My best skill is sewing but now i have a Long Arm, a sewing machine, lots of fabric and I recently retired. Woo hoo! I think! I look forward to learning a lot from all of the members of this group. Sew happi to be a part of so many with similar interests.
I am currently challenging myself by perfecting mitered borders.

Hello from Texas! I am so glad I found this group. It is great to be with other quilters. I have been quilting for 20years but seriously for about 10. I have 3 grown kids, 2 grandbabies 2 cats and the most incredible husband ever. He has spent the last week setting up my sewing room - complete with new computer, new cutting table and new desk. Wooohoooo!!! Can't wait to get started with you all. Dawn
