Not sure this is the correct subtopic, but I will be in London Sat night and Sun morning, Sept 3rd & 4th. I'm new to the quilting board, from Suwanee, GA and been quilting about 12 years. Needle turned applique is my favorite, but I love the challenge of a new pattern.

Hope I can hook up with another quilter while in London!

Can't help you there, but while in London if you have time a must see is the Victoria & Albert Museum. Quilts, tapestries, needlework, clothing ...

I personally haven't made it there YET, so far every time I get there other things get in the way, and the one time we made a plan to visit this museum they were closed (it was boxing day).

Hubby tells me every time though that if I go to *one* museum in London, choose the V&A.

Check with the V&A that the textuile section will be open. they are undergoing some reorganisation at the moment and I believe that they have temporarily closed this section. Contact them through their site.
