Hi, I'm new to the Message Board. I am looking for a log cabin quilt pattern called "Background Magic." I have part of it but realized I don't have all of it. Bought the fabric already and started cutting. HELP! I orginally found this pattern in a book but don't remember which one. I made photo copies of the pages I wanted but (obviously) didn't get all I needed. Thanks!!!

Hello Bikerchick!
Welcome from Minnesota!
You can do a search at the top of this board to see if you can find it. Lots of luck! :)

Do any of the photocopies give the book name? If so, see if you can buy the book. Generally, making photocopies of a pattern in a book is a copyright no-no.

Hi and welcome to the board from Iowa. It is okay to copy part of a book for your own personal use. I am sorry I do not know this pattern and cannot help, but I am sure someone will come along who will know (smile).

I checked the pages for a name. I got it at the Library so I went there today and checked. Of course it was like looking for a needle in a haystack. No luck.

Thanks, though.
