Hello, I live in Allen, Michigan, and am not new to sewing but new to quilting. I love this board! I have been busy starting a new career in Medical Transcription. Now I am going to make some time for myself, and start quilting. I have been buying fabrics for the last couple of years,
copy lots of patterns, and have even started a few blocks, but nothing is
even close to finisherd yet. With the holidays creeping closer every day, it is giving me even mor incentive. I may be asking for lots of your expert
advice. Wish me luck!!

I have been quilting since I was 11. My granny taught me and I have do it for more than 32 years. With that said, I am still learning and believe that I have a lot to learn. I believe that a quilt is love, hugs and warm thoughts when the person that I make one for needs one and i can't be there to give it in person.

Hi and welcome from a Yooper! I live in Menominee, MI. You will find lots of inspiration here, but don't spend so much time here that you don't have any left to quilt. LOL!
