I'm called Nana. I've never seen it on material. How about embroidery? I use it all the time because Nana seems rare. As does YaYa - my sister's "name".

Welcome Nana from hot and beautiful Arizona.

You can make your own fabric by using diluted bleach. 1 part bleach to 2 parts water. Choose a plain dark color. Using a small brush, write the name NANA on the fabric and as soon as the name appears, rinse the fabric in cold water several times. You can also use a rubber stamp instead of the brush. Try the process on several small pieces of fabric before doing an entire piece of fabric. You could even carve the name out of a potato and use that as a stamp.

Welcome to the board from Southern California!!!!

You could also embroider "Nana" on the quilt by hand or by machine
