Have sewn all my life it seems. Totally love it. Have always wanted to quilt but didn't know anyone who did that could teach me. My eldest daughter for christmas signed me up for a quilting class at my local Joann's. My first class was tonite. It was a three hour class and it felt like I just got there and it was time to go. It doesn't matter how much experience you have sewing because there is sewing then there is quilting. There is bendable rules for regular sewing that you can't do with quilting. Well I have to say I can't wait untill next week. I look at everyones work on this board and I am totally in awe. I can't even imagine that I can one day maybe produce some works of art like is on here everyday.

You will be turning out beautiful quilts real soon. Quilting is really addicting. Very few people ever try it that don't like it. Welcome to the quilting board.

Hi and welcome from Southern California! So glad the "quilt bug" has bitten-there is no cure and you will only get worse as you go-but what a way to go!! We look forward to seeing your first project posted on this board!! There are so many people here willing to give advice/help/encouragement etc! Just keep plugged in!
