New to the Board

Hello, I joined this board today. My name is Debbie or Hand quilting Grammy. I live in Janesville, Wisconsin. I am a hand quilter. I may choose to learn machine quilting some day but for now I find hand quilting relaxing and being relatively new to quilting I have enough challenges to keep me interested. I might want to learn something new like machine quilting one day though. As I said I'm fairly new to quilting and I taught myself from books I've gotten from the library and video's I've found various places. It seems I learn something new with each quilt. It keeps it challenging.

Gosh, if you only do hand quilting, I admire you already. So glad you joined us and I am sure you will find lots more projects to keep you busy from all the wonderful ideas here.

Welcome from Vermont. You neverknow the memories you leave when you hand quilt. My grandmother was wheel-chair bound and my memories of her were constantly hand-sewing quilts and rugs.
