Hi! I'm new to the list but have been reading all your posts and looking at all the beautiful quilts for a few days. This is the best board I've seen and all of you are much better than me. I feel like I'm already learning more and I've been at this for over 20 years. I'm mostly a scrap quilt make. The quilts I make are meant to be used over and over. I did make one special quilt that took me the past ten years. Reason being is that the patterns only came out the years that the US Mint released the state quarters. Lots of embroidery and finally finished it last year. Hope I can post it for you to see. Really enjoy this board!

Welcome from the CA desert. Wow! That is a very wonderful quilt! I do machine redwork and can't do the hand embroidery. Do you have the quilt displayed at home?

Thanks for the kind words. I just keep it folded in a pillow case. Don't know what I want to do with it yet. Have 3 kids and lots of grandkids, but don't want to let go of it yet.

Hi and Welcome from Alaska! That is a gorgeous quilt and should be on display. I think it is wonderful. If you run out of ideas what to do with it, I would take it in a heartbeat! LOL
