Welcome Nate. There are several famous male quilters.

Google and I bet you will be surprised. Right off the top I think of Patrick Lose, Kaffe Fassettt, Ricky Timms, etc. so you are in Good Company! So happy to hear you are interested in carrying on the family tradition.

Welcome from middle Tennessee. Check out Ricky Tims (one m or two?); he is my most favorite man quilter, along with Mark Lipinski. See about making a trip to Paducah (or the one in Pennsylvania); wonderful quilt shows where you learn a lot and have a wonderful time learning at the same time.

Welcome from South Louisiana. Got a husband who is willing to use the long arm or do upholstery, but won't sew a quilt seam. Wish he would. We could get a lot more accomplished.
