Hi everyone, I would like to get in on all the fun here. My name is Diane and live near Goodrich, MI. I am retired and have lots of free time for crafts. I am into a lot of different things, which includes beading, plastic canvas, sewing and just started quilting about a year ago. Last Christmas I made 3 quilt-as-you-go quilts. Loved it. My sister and I are going to the Lake Huron/Thumb Area Quilter's Retreat November 11-13. Anybody here going? Maybe we can get to know each other some before we go. Looking forward to making lots of friends from all over.

Welcome from another Michigander. I lived in Grand Blanc before moving North, so I know where Goodrich is. Enjoy the retreat.

I'll be going through Goodrich tomorrow on my way to the nice craft show in Clarkston.

Where is the retreat? This is the first I've heard of it.

The retreat is by Lexington at Camp Cavell, $125 for the weekend. Look it up. It sounds like fun. Where do you live in the thumb? I am from Snover and my family is still up there around Snover and Snadusky.
