Hi. I've been watching for some time now. I decided it was time to join in. I have made quilts in the past, but due to health problems have done nothing for a number of years. My health is improving, so I decided it was time to have a quilt and a pair of socks going at all times. Look forward to taking a more active part.

I'm new too...just introduced myself yesterday.

When you say a pair of socks going...are you knitting or crocheting? I re-taught myself how to knit after being away from it for probably 35 years. But I recently purchased one of those sock looms and I love it. Just have to make sure to use to correct weight yarn. Of course now I am obsessed with quilting but...sock looming is a take along project.

Thanks for the welcome. I knit socks. Not too crazy about the crochet ones, although I plan to crochet slippers since we are putting in all new bamboo flooring in place of the carpet. I love it, and can finally walk bare foot through the house. I have a pair of knitted socks that I started and need to get back to them. Cables stitch. Lots of consentration, so I had to rest from it.
