Hi all!! I am very excited about joining this group...it seems to have a variety of quilting styles and that is just what I need!
I live in Upstate New York..I have been quilting for 20 years, but mostly hand applique and hand quilting. Arthritis has nudged me to try machine quilting and I am enjoying it, although I have much to learn!
I usually don't quilt in the summer months, but the weather here this summer has either been too wet or too hot and humid to do much outside, so I have found myself at the machine more and more.
I have an ancient singer that I just love, a newer singer and a singer embroidery machine..it's not any type of brand loyalty..it just worked out that way!
Looking forward to getting to know you all...Donna

Hello Donna,
I live in CA but spent the first 30 years of my life in upstate NY. Beautiful there, but so humid in summer. I'm a newbie to quilting and to the board and just joined a bit over a month ago. Wonderful people, tutorials, different discussions, pictures, ideas, and camaraderie. You will love it here. Welcome.
