Hi everyone, my name is Jeff. My wife has been quilting since her grandmother taught her as a little girl. I just started, having found alot of free time due to the economic down turn. I was immediately hooked... although I have a hard time finding more masculine quilting ideas.

Jeff, welcome. A nice guy pattern (IMHO) is one called "card trick". You could do this in bold colors, or in your own color scheme. I just finished a top in this pattern. It was fun and not too hard. Best wishes.
