I started quilting casually just about 15 years ago.l got into it more seriously after a stroke in my rehab phase. I am on my 13th and 14th quilts(just starting on them!) They are for our youngest granddaughters ages 3 and 1. I made them baby quilts but now working towards twin sized. Then we have 2 step grandchildren to make quilts for! I love making them, but I am oh, so slow! I realize that it is alot related to my disease but still it can be quite frustrating. I love how they go together as mish mashes of fabric and come out so beautifully;even when the patterns are simple! Ialways loved art and wasn't ever very good at it. This is my creative outlet.
